CLOUDY OR CLEAR, I AM NEAR!

I speak unto you this day and I say that I the Living God do remain near to those who are Mine and are desirous of maintaining integrity of relationship with Me. Whether the skies are cloudy or clear, I want those who are sincere in their commitment to do My Will rather than their own. It is not necessary that My people partake of the philosophies, the immoral behaviors, the dull and mundane existences of those trapped by the world.

Far too often when My people are tested in the times of cloudy, gray, and dismal realities, they turn away, seeking to “walk in the sunshine” rather than to endure whatsoever conditions My Spirit leads them into. It is one thing for people to make the declarations of their intentions to follow My Spirit, it is another thing for them to keep those declarations and obey. Literally I search the earth for those who will “walk the walk” and not just “talk the talk.” When people are merely “talkers,” the signs do not follow them. Why? Because they do not believe Me in the times when everything is not beautiful like “an unclouded day.” . . .

JESUS CHRIST THE LORD is the only Savior from sin and the power of the devil.  He is God in the flesh -- the Only One who has come to die for you and me, to pay the penalty of our sins and empower us by His Holy Spirit to live a victorious life above sin!  He can help you, and He will, if you just turn to Him.  Turn from all known sin, turn to Jesus, pray for forgiveness for your sins and that God will fill you and baptize you in His Holy Spirit, and He will.  
Trust God!  Pray, read the Bible daily, and OBEY what God's Spirit shows you.  It is a lifelong journey in being made more and more like Jesus, so don't be discouraged and NEVER quit.  REPENT daily, love Jesus, and do the best you can to serve Him each day.  He will ALWAYS be with you to help you as you fight the battle to choose what is right and keep yourself in Him!

When everyone willingly commits themselves to follow in the steps of Jesus, some regret that commitment as soon as they meet up with obstacles they had not foreseen. So, instead of waiting on My Spirit then going forth in obedience to the commands, they begin to make commands of Me as though what they needed ME to obey them. 

Consider how absurd that is to Me. They have assumed the position that is not theirs to have inasmuch I am the ALMIGHTY, not them! When people covered by pride assume they have the right to command Me around, they are fools. I do not obey people when they are meant to obey Me. Of course I give to all who want, or so they think, to follow in the steps of Jesus, time to grow and make the necessary changes as My Spirit convicts them of attitudes, behaviors, and trappings of the “old life.” Those who are willing to do as they are directed and can skillfully accept correction and direction will of course come forth able to follow Jesus. The ones who are convinced they know better than they do, because they are covered by pride, will only prove themselves “not worthy, unfit for duty.” These ones, rather than repent and humble themselves and receive instruction, insist on having their own ways and by the same, grow more and more rebellious and resentful of My intentions for them. Do not be eager to listen to such ones, for they are not faithful and fruitful. Rather they are rebellious and resentful and wanting to recruit others to follow them so that they can share in the misery they have put themselves in. It is a true saying that “misery loves company” and so those who have by their own pride separated themselves from Mercy talk against Me. They become more and more hard against the Holy Spirit and speak of Jesus, not personally, but as a famous “religious figure” spoken of as Savior.

Sad but true, if they could see their own dry and barren lives and how the soil which was once soft and receptive had become dry and split bearing nothing but rebellion and resentment. 

How wonderful it is when men and women mature to become as was Jesus, true sons and daughters who are willing vessels and only want My Kingdom to be shown in earthen vessels. Stop and consider when Jesus had completed His Mission and finished encouraging His disciples and telling them to receive the Holy Spirit He ascended back to Me. He could have protested and wanted to stay, even in the tomb after the ordeal of the Cross, or He could have wanted to “have His Own Ministry”. He did none of those things. He was the Vessel I used and when He was to come back to Me, He willingly obeyed. 

So must it be with those who want to follow in His Steps, they die to themselves and merely become Vessels of Honor, not attempting to take the Glory that belongs to Me. They by choice, are channels whereby the Rivers of Living Water pass out to the thirsty and dry souls who are needy of True Spiritual Experience. Thus even in these times there are many places where I am waiting to pour forth My Spirit Outpourings as souls are desperately needy of the Pure, Clean Living Waters of Life. 

Therefore, be willing to let My Spirit direct you howsoever I desire, whether that is in deep prayers in the quiet of the night or mid-day, or morning. Remember Daniel prayed three times a day while living in captivity to a heathen king. Therefore stay sensitive to the Spirit and obey the commands, for in obedience is the Life, Love, and Light to be found flourishing. It is vitally important to realize that no matter what the commands are which the Holy Spirit gives, that to be True you must obey with gladness even when your old nature is raging in anger. Do not ever forget that the carnal mind is the enemy of the Mind of My Holy Spirit. Far too many grow “comfortable, complacent, careless, and carnal.” They do not want to live under the clouds or unbearable cold or heat, they want to control the thermostat and have things their way, not My Way. Such ones as these will not partake of My Spirit Outpourings, for they have separated themselves by their own choices. The ones who will be used of My Spirit are the ones who are willing to be channels, not “great” but grateful to Me.
