NONE CAN RESTRICT ME!
I speak unto you this day and I say that there is none who can restrict Me and then imagine they get by. Be aware, no one gets by on Me, for I am the ALMIGHTY GOD WHOSE POWER AND GLORY REMAIN. In the history of My people of old, when the foreigners took the Ark of the Covenant and put it in their territories, it was Me the Living God who brought harm upon them. The reason being, they did not have the rights to restrict Me, and when they assumed that I was as powerless as their idols, they found out differently, for I brought them plenty of troubles and shame. I smote their idols, I likewise gave tumors and smote their land causing them to be totally smitten.
Then the Philistines moved the Ark to another location, only to find that these people were likewise cursed with tumors and their food supplies eaten up by rats. Within the five locations the Philistines moved the Ark, they suffered for their attempts to restrict Me. Some were smitten with death and others who survived had tumors, both old and young alike had the tumors I put on them.
They took counsel together and decided to return the Ark to Israel and they sent an offering to them as they enclosed images of gold made like tumors and rats. When the cows got to the territory of Israel, some of the people of Israel sinned by looking in the Ark which they were not allowed to do, therefore I smote them with death for their transgression.
After this, the people of Israel were prospered because they had the Ark back in their possession and Samuel the Prophet ruled them in integrity. When the Philistines saw this, they attempted to smite the people of Israel and I intervened with Thunder and the Philistines fled in fear and many were slain by My Power as the people of Israel pursued them. All of what the Philistines had taken was restored and My people vowed they would put away all idols and serve only Me as their God. So there was peace in the land all of the days that Samuel was The Prophet.
Of course, as Samuel was nearing death, the people of Israel saw how evil his sons were and demanded to have a king like the heathen round about. I told Samuel to let them know that I would give them a king and he would greatly oppress them because they were not rejecting Samuel, they were rejecting Me. So he went to them and told them what I had told him and they still wanted a king so they brought to themselves many sorrows because they were attempting to restrict Me and become what they wanted to be, by having a king over them who would take all they had, including their children, the animals, their servants, their vineyards, and all else as well as a good portion of their seeds, and they would be slaves instead of owners. He gave to them the warning of the king I would give them and they still demanded a king. So it was that I chose Saul and he became to them exactly what they thought they wanted, until they actually began to groan under his oppressive rule. He was very proud and not willing to humble himself and do what I commanded. Instead, he chose repeatedly to follow his own understanding which was darkened.
Then when he heard of David’s abilities, he became insanely jealous of him for fear the people would give more honor to David than to him. As he was so vexed because of his own independent pride, he wanted David to play music for him as that was the only thing that soothed him. However, what he failed to understand is that David maintained right standing with Me and that is why the music he played was able to soothe Saul.
Saul attempted to murder David while in one of his insane rages and David could easily have killed Saul, yet he refused because at that time, Saul was the king I had given the people to prove to them they had no right to restrict Me regarding what I could and could not do with them. Then as time progressed, Saul became more and more deranged mentally and eventually he met with death because of his incomplete obedience to Me.
By the time that Saul was dead, the people realized how stupid they had been in their desires for “a king.” However, I no longer allowed them to be ruled by a True Prophet but they were to be ruled by kings. Some of the kings were good and cared about the people, others were very cruel and oppressive and My people suffered greatly under such rulers.
These things made evident, consider how important it is that you remain faithful to Me and do as I command you. Do not be so foolish as to attempt to carry on in the darkness of your understanding or to think you must have exactly what the world has. I do not want My people to get eyes full of adultery for the things of this world and go in the folly of the same. I want people to realize how important it is for them to be subject to the Mind of the Holy Spirit and to willingly come under Commands and Dictates given to them by The Holy Spirit.
Remember this, you are not intended to be found in the way of fools who end up as King Saul, too proud and self-willed to function according to My purposes and plans. There are multitudes even in these times who are as vexed and tormented as was King Saul because they have attempted to restrict Me and in so doing, they are insane. No reason to be insane, better to walk humbly before Me and be glad for My Rule over your lives.
