DON'T GIVE THEN BRAG
I speak unto you this day and I say, “Don’t give then brag” about how much you have given. I do not want My people to be bragging about what they give and wanting to receive recognition for the same. I want those who are Mine to realize that what they give is between them and Me and they are not meant to want to be praised for their “great gifts.”
Remember The Example which Jesus taught to His Disciples when He told them to consider the Widow and her two mites which was all she had to live on; she gave her all. Of course in the eyes of men and women it appears as though she gave nothing, but the same is not true. For it was everything she had and she did not concern herself with her own future; she left that with Me.
I am well able to provide for those who have, in times of need, given everything they had to see others blessed. They have not bragged nor called attention to themselves, they have merely done what they could and in the same have learned to cooperate with the commands of My Spirit.
While some people want to take My Glory because they have natural riches, what they do not realize is they could lose those riches and then they would find themselves out of their mansions, their belongings being auctioned off for a fraction of what they paid for them, and then fire could be set to everything they had their confidence in and wanted to brag about.
If natural riches increase, My True People are not meant to keep the increase for themselves and have more luxurious surroundings and elegant clothing and excessive abundance of expensive foods and drink. Rather the increase is meant to be so they can give unto the poor missionaries around the world who are taking the Gospel to the peoples, tribes, and nations who live in heathen darkness.
Those who take the riches for their own “best lives now” are a shame to Me, My Son, and My Spirit, for they are not living for My Kingdom, they are living for their own selfishness and luxurious living while people perish. When such ones as these stand before Me and they want to brag about how much they gave, I will ask them what about the other 90 percent they spent on themselves while multitudes remained in paganism and perished? Believe Me, when people give themselves to My Son Jesus, they are meant to walk in His Steps, they are not meant to go their own ways, and do what they want rather than what I want them to do. The ones who give their lives, then take them back, are double-minded and totally unstable in all of their ways. They do not give with the intentions which are right in My Sight, therefore they can brag and boast all they want, their motives are wrong and not Right before Me. The more they go their own way, the harder their hearts become.
Selfishness literally causes strangulation of the Spirit Life which I want My people to function in. With this in meditation be quick to give, slow to admit that you have done the same. This keeps you from becoming a braggart as to “how big your offering was.” If I the Living God do provide for you so that you are able to give “big offerings,” why should you or anyone want to boast of how much they give?
Remember it is Me The Living God who both gives and takes away so that those who are Mine will understand how to abound and how to be abased and will keep steadily focusing on My Will no matter their circumstances. I do not want My people to grow stagnant and proud whereby they become merely mechanical like robots in their relationship with Me. Such is the problem which is ever invading and causing multitudes to grow cold and dull with no excitement, true love, or zeal for My Kingdom.
The ones who end in such a heap, merely have a form of godliness but deny the Power found in Relationship. They have settled themselves for “religion” and there they remain and become a disgust to Me. If you consider that Jesus took no recognition to Himself, instead He told people to give the recognition to Me as His Father. He kept His Integrity no matter what His circumstances or situations were.
JESUS CAME AS THE LAMB in the midst of devouring wolves, which was The Jewish Religious establishment of those days. I never intended for people to be of such a disposition, I intended for them to be of Me as the One who would keep them in perfect peace. However they were not of Me, they were of their father, the devil, and were therefore motivated by demons. JESUS KNEW WHO AND WHAT THEY WERE AS THEY WERE WOLVES WHO WERE USING AND ABUSING MY PEOPLE.
This is evident even now inasmuch as multitudes are set on having things their way, and because of that, they are quick to brag, to strut, and boast of how “great they are” as they demand more and more money to spread the news of “how great they are.” The Wolves in Leadership care nothing for the flocks, they are only concerned with their own gain and their own fame. Do not listen to such fools, for they are devouring multitudes and you are not meant to be among the victims. Rather you are meant to be VICTORIOUS over pride, arrogance, and the foolishness of “self-idolatry.” Keep True and Trusting in Me, not yourselves, don’t brag!
